Summer Update

This summer was another full and busy one here at the Mill!

It started on a sad note with the loss of our beloved friend, Joan, on June 11th. She was an extraordinary person in our lives and a significant contributor to this website. We miss her immensely.

For her birthday, I made up these buttons...so she would know that we will always be asking ourselves: "What Would Joan Say?" And, I do: daily! Thankfully, I can always hear her answer back.

My kids arrival soon after, was a loving distraction. Their annual visit is a true highlight of our year.

The work on the Mill continued with some thatching replaced and new blades being manufactured. We have been told they will be installed in March, which we are very excited about.

Both of our Airbnb's were fully booked.

We enjoyed many return guests and met lots of really nice new ones.

It was a truly beautiful summer!
