My name is Han. I was born and raised in the Alkmaar area. I am passionate about sharing the beauty of this area with others. I completed my miller training in 1998 and in 2000 had the opportunity to restore this unique 1632 windmill where I have lived ever since.

In 2020, I married my American wife, Kelly, who brings her own special gifts to our lives here at the Mill. She adds her eye for detail, photography skills, and warmth. She also sees this area through fresh eyes, which makes us the perfect team!
